Why venues, hospitality operators and events businesses choose the P-Series

Up in hours, not days

Ground-level, pin-and-clip assembly means your team isn't working at height — a 6m long unit goes up well within a morning, so it's not closing off your site or disrupting your operation for long.

Built to be reused, not replaced

Aluminium frame and BS EN-tested cover are designed for years of seasonal use — a long-term asset whether you're running events yourself or hiring the structure out.

Right-sized for your space

Scale from a 1.5m garden canopy to a 12m banquet pavilion using the same components and fixings — no new system to learn as your venue or requirements grow.

Paperwork your insurer accepts

Every structure ships with BS EN structural calculations as standard — ready for your insurer, your local authority, HSE sign-off, or a venue's public liability review.

One system, every size

From a covered terrace to a wedding pavilion — every size uses the same components, fixings and assembly method. Start with what you need now and extend later without sourcing a different system.

How it goes up

Designed so the riskiest part of putting up a marquee — working at height — rarely happens.

01

Build at ground level

Frames are assembled and connected while flat on the ground — no scaffolding, no working at height.

02

Hinge into position

The structure is hinged upward into its final shape one frame at a time, not built piece by piece in the air.

03

Weather seal

Induvidual roofs and walls are now fitted. Each piece with keder edges sealing watertight within the frame.

White is standard. Solid colours available for side walls, roofs and valances — useful for matching a venue colour scheme or branding a hire fleet.

Fit it out for your space

Every P-Series is a starting point. Add what you need to make it work for your venue, your events, or your hire fleet — all from Hoecker stock.

Flooring Systems

Nordic pine Class A boards on a steel or timber substructure — two systems available. The full steel substructure is rated to 3.5kN/m² and includes integrated leg baseplates; the sub-floor system suits level ground and costs less. Both are modular to match your layout, and the sub-floor can be upgraded later.

Interior Linings

Fabric linings transform the inside from bare PVC to a finished, polished space. Ideal for hospitality venues, weddings and corporate events where the interior look matters as much as the structure itself.

Glazed Doors & Bi-folds

Single doors, double doors and bi-fold options give the gable ends a more solid, permanent feel while improving access and ventilation. Glazed panels let light in and raise the perceived quality of the space.

Glazed Windows

PVC or glazed window panels can be fitted into side walls to bring natural light into the structure without opening it up to the weather — particularly useful for semi-permanent or year-round installations.

uPVC Solid Walling

Hoecker's own registered system: 40mm tongue-and-groove uPVC planks that slot into the marquee legs, achieving a thermal U-value of 2.22 W/m²K. A better-insulated, more permanent-looking alternative to soft PVC sides — modular in height to suit any leg configuration from 2.4m upwards.

Printed Covers

Have your PVC cover printed with your logo, brand colours or event artwork. A clean way to make the structure a visible part of your venue or brand — popular with hospitality operators and hire companies who want a consistent look across their fleet.

After nearly 25 years specifying mainly P-Series structures, this hire business credits the system with keeping their operation running smoothly — and calls the support and advice they've had along the way invaluable for an SME their size.

Frequently asked questions

A 6m unit (2 bays) typically goes up in well under a morning with two people — the whole frame is assembled and connected at ground level before being raised, so there's no working at height and minimal disruption to the surrounding site.

In many cases a temporary structure for a limited period won't require planning permission, but the rules depend on your local authority, the land, the intended use and how long the structure stays up. We'd recommend checking with your local planning department. The BS EN structural calculations that come with every P-Series are exactly the kind of documentation they typically ask to see.

Yes. The 3m bay system is designed to be extended indefinitely, so you can start with what you need now and add bays later as your venue grows or demand increases — without buying into a different system.

White is standard. Solid colour options are available for side walls, roofs and valances — whether you're matching a venue's colour scheme, a hotel livery, or branding a hire fleet. Get in touch with your requirements and we'll quote accordingly.

Every P-Series ships with professional structural calculations covering wind loading, tent safety and aluminium design to BS EN standards — ready for your insurer, your local authority, a licensing review, or any venue's risk assessor.
