Why the E20-202 is specified for major events
20m clear span — zero internal columns
At 20m wide the interior is completely unobstructed. No posts, no guy ropes, no compromises on layout — the full floor area is usable, which matters for exhibitions, banqueting, staging and large event configurations.
202mm×122mm structural profile
The E20-202 uses a 202mm×122mm 4-track grade 6082-T6 aluminium section — significantly larger than standard event marquee profiles, and designed to carry the structural loads that come with a 20m span.
Rated for lighting and rigging loads
The frame supports up to 85kg from a single point or 170kg spread across two points per A-frame — practical capacity for lighting rigs, PA systems and suspended event equipment without needing a separate rigging structure.
Ground-level assembly — no roof work
Despite the scale, the E20-202 uses the same hinge-up ground assembly method as the rest of the Hoecker range.
Fixed at 20m wide — extend to any length in 5m bays
The E20-202 is a single-span product: 20m wide, every time. Length is fully variable — start at 10m (2 bays) and add 5m bays to reach whatever footprint your event requires. Structures over 45m long require an additional wind bracing bay.
STRUCTURE LENGTH · MINIMUM 10M (2 BAYS)
How it goes up
Despite spanning 20m, the E20-202 uses the same ground-level hinge assembly as the rest of the Hoecker range.
Build at ground level
Frames are assembled and connected while flat on the ground - no scaffolding, no working at height.
Hinge into position
The structure is hinged upward into its final shape one frame at a time, not built piece by piece in the air.
Weather seal
Induvidual roofs and walls are now fitted. Each piece with keder edges sealing watertight within the frame.

Fit it out for your space
Every E20-202 is a starting point. Add what you need to make it work for your event, your venue, or your hire fleet — all from Hoecker stock.
Flooring Systems
Nordic pine Class A boards on a steel or timber substructure — two systems available. The full steel substructure is rated to 3.5kN/m² and includes integrated leg baseplates; the sub-floor system suits level ground and costs less. Both are modular to match your layout, and the sub-floor can be upgraded later.

Fabric linings transform the inside from bare PVC to a finished, polished space. Ideal for hospitality venues, weddings and corporate events where the interior look matters as much as the structure itself.

Single doors, double doors and bi-fold options give the gable ends a more solid, permanent feel while improving access and ventilation. Glazed panels let light in and raise the perceived quality of the space.
View door optionsGlazed Windows
PVC or glazed window panels can be fitted into side walls to bring natural light into the structure without opening it up to the weather — particularly useful for semi-permanent or year-round installations.

Hoecker's own registered system: 40mm tongue-and-groove uPVC planks that slot into the marquee legs, achieving a thermal U-value of 2.22 W/m²K. A better-insulated, more permanent-looking alternative to soft PVC sides — modular in height to suit any leg configuration from 2.4m upwards.

Have your PVC cover printed with your logo, brand colours or event artwork. A clean way to make the structure a visible part of your venue or brand — popular with hospitality operators and hire companies who want a consistent look across their fleet.

Frequently asked questions
The minimum length is 10m (2 bays of 5m each). From there you can add 5m bays to reach any length — 15m, 20m, 50m, 100m or more. Structures longer than 45m require an additional wind bracing bay. There is no practical upper limit on length.
Yes — the E20-202 is fully clear span. There are no intermediate columns, posts, or internal guy ropes. The entire 20m width is usable floor space from wall to wall, which is why this structure is specified for exhibitions, banqueting, large-scale staging and event formats where internal supports would cause layout problems.
Each A-frame (rafter pair) will support up to 85kg from a single suspension point, or 170kg if the load is spread evenly across the span from two points. This is useful capacity for lighting rigs, PA line arrays and suspended event equipment — though any rigging should be designed and checked by a qualified rigger against these limits.
Yes. The E20-202 can be anchored using 850mm ground stakes (for grass or soil), anchor bolts (for concrete or hard standing), or ballast weights where ground penetration isn't possible.
Every E20-202 ships with structural calculations covering wind loading (BS EN 1991-1-4:2005+A1:2010), tent safety (BS EN 13782:2015) and aluminium structure design (BS EN 1999 Eurocode 9), rated to 56mph. These are ready for your insurer, local authority, event site safety officer, or any venue's risk assessor.
